AVC Wise is seeking to employ a Project Coordinator / Planner to join our team.

AVC Wise have a huge market reach throughout the UK and work on many cutting-edge AVC products and projects and this is an exciting new opportunity to be part of a fast-growing and innovative business.

Ideally, this role would suit a graduate with some experience in project administration / coordination / management (in any sector)- such as client interfacing, resource allocation and timeline planning, progress reporting, or other. However, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Who were looking for

Your main responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Supplier liaison initial post-contract briefing, setting project plans and timelines, and providing regular updates throughout. Managing any variances to plan or scope;
  • Resource planning including: budgeting, internal resources allocation and negotiating timelines between internal (technical and non-technical teams);
  • Ongoing timeline tracking between multiple teams- internal and external;
  • Regular progress reporting; documenting project development and delivery;
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants;
  • Project sign offs.

Projects range in budget, length and complexity, and so, the role suits a candidate who is an organised and skilled planner, capable of managing multiple concurrent deadlines and who thrives on seeing projects through to completion

A bit about you

You will have previous experience in project administration and either have, or be willing to work towards a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) qualification. In addition to this you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member;
  • Able to prioritise to meet conflicting deadlines and organise complex activities;
  • Diligent with a high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy at all times;
  • Ability to handle data confidently;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to be able to address any issues and challenges that may arise;
  • Committed to providing a high standard of service and support to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Competent and experienced in the application and operation of ICT, in particular Microsoft Office Products such as Word and Excel.
