SPECIALIST PROJECT WORKER

The Vacancy:
We are looking for a Specialist Project Worker which will support two areas of KeyRing’s work:
- Criminal justice policy work
- Employment work
This is a full-time, mainly home-based post of 37.5 hours per week with the salary of £22,632.48 per annum. Occasional (approx. twice monthly) travel across England and Wales will be needed.
The Role:
You will play a key part in supporting the development of our employment and criminal justice policy work. You don’t need in-depth knowledge of either topic, but you do need to be values-driven and willing to try new things.
If you’re ambitious, we will do our best to support you to develop your skills with an eye to the future, but if you’ve found your niche, that’s okay too!
In this role you will be doing things such as:
- Attending meetings on-line and face to face
- Undertaking meeting admin tasks such as:
o Booking venues, refreshments and travel
o Note taking
o Report writing
- Supporting the creation of high-quality Easy information by:
o Reading reports and converting ideas to easy language
o Creating simple audio-visual resources (if you are comfortable with Office 365, you’ll be fine with the programmes we use).
- Facilitating the roll out of employment-related projects across England & N Wales
- Delivering online KeyRing’s Getting Going in employment course
- Supporting with fundraising for related projects
We are not looking for someone with experience in all these areas, we’re looking for someone with transferable skills and a can-do attitude!
