Role Outline

A Test Engineer working as part of a team supporting an exciting and fast-growing Company that is leading the market in its sector.

Working in a challenging, regulated, high-quality industry, delivering our product to external customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Analysis of Requirements and Design Documentation.
• Creation and execution of Test Cases.
• Working closely with Business Analysts, Product and Development to determine Test Data and Test Paths.
• Defect management.
• Working with the Support Team to handover known issues and workarounds.
• Creating Test Reports.
• Working as part of an Agile team, fully participating in Scrums and demonstrations.
• To develop a good understanding of Trakcel products, the industry and client processes.

Skills and Experience- Essential

• Minimum one years’ experience as a software tester.
• Experience creating and executing test cases.
• Hold or working towards a recognised software QA/Test qualification - e.g. BCS ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester.
• Experience of a Requirements, Test Management and Bug Tracking systems.
• Working in an Agile environment, creating test cases from User Stories using ATDD, BDD and Gherkin
• Working with modern web-based applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills and Experience-Desirable

• Experience of the high-quality test execution and deliverables needed in a regulated industry.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience using Requirements and Test management tools (e.g. codeBeamer).
• Experience of creating Test Plans and Scheduling Test Phases.
• Experience of testing mobile applications.
• Experience of testing Salesforce based applications
