Role Outline
A Test Engineer working as part of a team supporting an exciting and fast-growing Company that is leading the market in its sector.
Working in a challenging, regulated, high-quality industry, delivering our product to external customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Analysis of Requirements and Design Documentation.
- Creation and execution of Test Cases.
- Working closely with Business Analysts, Product and Development to determine Test Data and Test Paths.
- Defect management.
- Working with the Support Team to handover known issues and workarounds.
- Creating Test Reports.
- Working as part of an Agile team, fully participating in Scrums and demonstrations.
- To develop a good understanding of Trakcel products, the industry and client processes.
Skills and Experience- Essential
- Minimum one years’ experience as a software tester.
- Experience creating and executing test cases.
- Hold or working towards a recognised software QA/Test qualification - e.g. BCS ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester.
- Experience of a Requirements, Test Management and Bug Tracking systems.
- Working in an Agile environment, creating test cases from User Stories using ATDD, BDD and Gherkin
- Working with modern web-based applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills and Experience-Desirable
- Experience of the high-quality test execution and deliverables needed in a regulated industry.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience using Requirements and Test management tools (e.g. codeBeamer).
- Experience of creating Test Plans and Scheduling Test Phases.
- Experience of testing mobile applications.
- Experience of testing Salesforce based applications
