The NHS England Yorkshire and Humber Renal Operational Delivery Network (ODN) will deliver the recommendations of the NHS Long term plan including the prevention, diagnosis and management of long-term conditions services that require a networked approach to development
The Project Support Officer will support the Y&H renal ODN in the delivery of a challenging service improvement agenda. Building upon the work already undertaken and working closely with the clinical leads and teams in the 6 Trusts within the ODN. All projects will be aligned with and embedded into the work programme for the network.
The Project Support Officer will need the ability to work remotely and be willing and able to travel to sites across the region.
Take overall responsibility for high level project and work plans, action logs and trackers. Manage, develop, maintain and update the flow of project and departmental documentation ensuring that accurate and timely information is communicated and distributed as agreed. This includes working with reports, highlight reports, data reports, and presentations.
Escalate any issues raised or discovered to the network leadership team for the implementation of solutions and / or remedial action.
Organise briefings, meetings, training and other events as required for projects and workstreams, including finding and booking venues and equipment, and providing the necessary documentation,
creating presentations, performance data, project management documentation, updating trackers and taking minutes, notes, etc.
Draft items for communication, internally and externally, regarding Y&H ODN stakeholder communications, project updates and other general communications. Working with the team ensure that ODN progress, projects and events are widely publicised.

This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis to 31st March 2024 due to the post being externally funded. The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts taking into consideration the ongoing source of the external funding and the requirement for the post to be maintained.
