Project Support Officer Sevenoaks, England

Sevenoaks District Council
Full Time Sevenoaks, England 26072 - 28515 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Can you make a difference to our rural community & economy?

A core element of ourEconomic Development Strategy and its Investment Plan is to deliver a wide variety of grant funded projects throughout our district. These projects will make a real difference to our local community and help grow our rural economy.

You’ll help us to achieve this by promoting these grant opportunities and supporting potential applicants throughout the application process.

An organisational approach is essential for this as you’ll be responsible for preparing for and liaising with the decision-making panel, which will include: preparation of all administration regarding the grants, monitoring and evaluation of the scheme and processing claims & grant agreements in accordance with scheme guidance.

Previous project experience is not essential but you’ll have an interest in the countryside and rural businesses as well as the ability to oversee and administer budget allocations.

So, if you have a passion for growing our economy and enjoy engaging with businesses then we would love to hear from you!

Please note that this is a part time role (22.5 hours per week) on a 2-year fixed term contract.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).

Do you want to know more about the role?

Please contact Simon Harris, West Kent Partnership Manager, on 01732 227347 or Emma West, Economic Development Officer (rural and tourism), on 01732 227205 for an informal discussion about the role.

Do you want to ensure you have the best chance of being shortlisted?
