Salary: From £25,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Permanent and Fixed Term contract positions available
Location: Hybrid - flexibility to work from home or at any of our main hubs (London, Bristol, Manchester and Harwell)

About the role:

Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)
The team sit within the strategy & corporate services directorate and are responsible for delivering strategic projects across the organisation. We operate an Enterprise Project Management Office which acts as a centre of excellence for all projects and programmes within Jisc.

The Project support officer will be expected to work on a variety of projects, ranging from internal IT system implementation / enhancements, and product development, as part of a wider internal change and transformation programme.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Organising Meetings – Including scheduling, sending out invitations, preparing agendas and minutes of meetings, following up on actions with invitees
  • Data Collation – Working with members of each project team to collate and share data on benefits, risks , milestones and dependencies
  • Reporting- Supporting project teams to ensure that all project reports, schedules and budgets are properly maintained
  • Support – Providing general support to the Programme Manager and Transformation Director

Key Skills and Experience:
  • Experience of project administration such as minute taking, setting up meetings, action tracking
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting large-scale technology projects or programmes
  • Ability to work within a fast paced, complex environment
  • Experience of supporting internal communications between teams
