Job description
At the Environment Agency we strive to ensure that everything we do counts towards leaving a legacy to be proud of – for people, communities, and the environment, for all of us and future generations to enjoy.
As a Project Support Officer, you’ll give our teams the support they need by efficiently and accurately handling project information. It’s a valued role that will see you supporting a wide range of projects, giving you an in-depth understanding of large-scale projects that are having a hugely positive effect.
Day to day you'll be handling and processing data, preparing newsletters and briefings, running reports, and providing vital support to meetings. This role provides a diverse range of work to help and support colleagues be ever-more effective in their roles. You’ll accompany Project Managers on site visits and help with community events.
The Project Support Officer plays a key role in enabling us as a team to deliver on our ambitious targets.
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
