You would be joining a well-respected team within the council, which has a track record of developing staff to enable them to further their careers.
The role involves working with the Senior Project Manager on the implementation of a variety of projects. The position would suit someone who is looking to develop their skills and experience in a project management environment.
Applicants should have good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with internal and external customers in a professional and confident manner.
We offer a blended working environment, the ability to work remotely and build relationships in a remote working environment is key, you need to be both flexible and positive, and able to adapt to new situations or procedures as required.
Responsibilities for this post will also require you to provide a high standard of administrative support including collating and analysing information, the ability to produce and maintain project documentation and coordinating multiple work tasks.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience and/or skills in the following areas:
- Good interpersonal skills and able to deal with people face to face, on the phone or via written communications
- Have previous experience or an interest in developing skills and experience in a Project Management environment
- An interest of existing technologies and new emerging technologies
- Ability to solve problems, make informed decisions and work on your own initiative
- Attention to detail and produce well written documentation
