Project Manager - Retail Construction London, England
Job description
Are you a successful project manager looking to join a diverse, award winning practice? My client specialises in the delivery of construction projects for large strategic residential, commercial, entertainment and retail developments and we now have an exciting position.
Your Role
- Manage design consultants, the authority approvals process and delivery of a range of highway, drainage utility, community building and public open space construction projects from concept design to completion all within programme constraints
- Able to simultaneously manage a portfolio of project issues
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to manage resolution of project issues, (such as engineering design, environmental, ecological and/or archaeological issues
- Forge strong working relationships with clients
- Be proactive and deliver an effective project management service, focused on client satisfaction
About You
- Full membership of a recognised professional body or committed to achieving full membership
- An industry recognised professional qualification in project management
- Efficient, proactive and collaborative approach
- Experience working on construction projects with a demonstrable track record of excellent technical delivery
- Experience managing internal and external project teams
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong working relationships at all levels
- A strategic thinker with the ability to convey ideas both verbally and in report form to clients, external stakeholders and the design team
- Able to adapt strategies in line with changing priorities
