Job description
An interesting opportunity has arisen for a project manager to lead on the digitalisation of our patient information library at UCLH.
Over the years, UCLH has built an extensive library of patient information leaflets that are currently available to patients in PDF format on our external website: uclh.nhs.uk. Due to recent guidancefrom NHS Digital, all public sector bodies are now urged to stop using PDFs and other formats as they are not as accessible as well-designed web content (digitalised HTML format).
Based in the Patient Experience Team and working alongside the Communications team, the role will involve leading on the conversion of our PDF patient information leaflets into HTML and digitalising our Patient Information leaflet library.
The ideal candidate will be able to maintain high levels of concentration over sustained periods of time, have a keen eye for detail, possess enhanced communication skills, good organisation skills, and be able to lead and demonstrate to the organisation the benefits to our patients of implementing these changes.
Well-developed IT skills and computer literacy is essential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving the accessibility of patient information and able to consistently produce high-quality content.
