Job description
Project Manager, Business Processes, Professional Services, PMP, Agile, Waterfall, Partially Remote, Partially Central London
Project Manager required to work for a fast growing and exciting Professional Services company based in Central London. However, due to Covid-19, this will be mainly remote, and you will be expected in the office 1-2 days per week.
Please read before applying but we NEED someone to meet this criteria as a minimum, or your application will not be considered:
- Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience
- Experience of delivering end to end projects in more than just one organisation
- Experience of Business Operations Projects and NOT just IT ones
- Experience of Transformational Delivery based projects
- Solid Stakeholder engagement skills
- An understanding of / or exposure to managing 3rd party suppliers
- Someone who knows the key differences between delivering projects in Agile and delivering projects in Waterfall
We also need someone who is a solid Project Manager and who has the battle scars to prove it. We want someone who is focus on the business processes side of Project Management and who has exposure to the likes of risk and governance. There is some cool stuff thrown in too, where you will be working with digital teams.
Typically, there are a lot of these type of people within the Public Sector and candidates with that background would certainly be considered. This company use Agile and Waterfall as a blend in terms of their methodologies and any exposure to both or either of there would be advantageous. As long you know what a Project Manager is and does, and you have solid stakeholder management, we would like to talk to you. Even better, if you are a Prince 2 practitioner (or similar, like having completed a PMP or APMP course, for instance), it would be beneficial.
The hiring manager wants to see solid Project Management language in a CV where you have been exposed to at least one project lifecycle (preferably more!):
- Project Management Process Mapping
- Current state / future state / as is mapping / to be mapping
- Journeys
- Business outcomes
- Project Execution
- Governance (preferred)
- APMP or PMP
- Agile, Prince 2 or Waterfall
This is a great opportunity and salary is dependent upon experience. Apply now for more details.
