About the Role
Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK sites, which includes but is not limited to: Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading or Havant.
Salary: £53,681 - £62,405 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options available
What is the Role?
This role involves the coordination and management of the installation of 20,000 low voltage monitors across our distribution regions in the north of Scotland and central southern England. Monitoring of our low voltage networks will allow us to develop active management solutions and this is essential as we move towards making our distribution network ready for Net Zero.
Key responsibilities for the role will include:
- Deliver the projects to the required quality and success criteria.
- Manage project resources, including the supply chain to ensure successful delivery of the objectives within budget and timescale.
- Ensure that business strategy, policy and standards are adhered to.
- Working with suppliers and others to maximise value from the LV Monitoring data.
- Manage cross project and programme dependencies, ensuring activity is joined up from an operational and delivery point of view.
- Provide regular reports and measures to demonstrate performance and progress against the plan.
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Proven experience of Project Management and Governance processes across a range of functions including safety, planning, resourcing, financial management, status reporting and risk management.
- Experience of managing projects and suppliers.
- Excellent understanding of IT products, services and systems.
- High level of aptitude with Microsoft project or a similar planning tool.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with strong attention to detail.
