Job description

Project Manager required for a Bristol based fit out contractor based in the BS37 area of Bristol.

Are you a Project Manager working on refurbishment / fit out projects with project values ranging from £30k to £150k (Small works) and looking for a new role with a company that can offer career progression and that are growing as a business.

THE ROLE

Project Management of multiple sites, based on projects starting at different stages of work. On average projects are live for a 4-week period.
The Project Manager role will involve:

Conducting a non-intrusive site survey and working with the MD to assist with survey of works and scope requirements of project, costs and health and safety requirements.

Plan requirements of project, including: Site Visit (walk-though with client and lead engineer)
Hold a Project Planning Meeting(s).
Produce a Programme and Schedule of Work
Complete a detailed Material Order
Identify what Labour Resources are required
Source and meet with Sub Contractors (agreeing scope of works, costs and getting copies of their RAMs/ insurance documentation)
Collate project information and update Project Folder with office support.
Writing site specific risk assessments and managing health & safety.

Manage live projects to ensure that works are completed safely and on time, to include: Weekly site visits to access progress of project
Managing engineer time and quality of engineer work on site
Managing Site Folder documentation
Managing H&S, including H&S compliance documentation
Updating Project Progress tracker
Completing weekly applications
Producing weekly reports to client and MD & Operations manager.
Completing sign off on Project and handover with client.

Role is a Hybrid based role – between Working from home, Office and site visits. This is mainly a normal working hour role. With small requirements to be available on your phone if your projects are running out of hours. You would not be expected (as the norm) to attend sites out of hours / work out of hours or weekends. On occasions that the project site visits require you to overnight, the company will pre-book and pay for Accommodation and a Food Allowance will be given.
