As a Project Manager (PM), you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of projects of various sizes to support VWFS in achieving business objectives and the right outcomes for our customers
You will be a qualified and experienced PM however, it’s not just about what you do, it’s about how you do it. You will be part of the wider Ways of Working and Delivery Team so supporting new ways of working through coaching colleagues and business SME’s will be essential for success. You will also be great at communicating, influencing and devising compelling business cases
We use agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a focus predominantly on agile so you will be used to applying these through projects you have delivered. You will be in good company as your team includes PM’s, SCRUM Master’s and Senior PM’s and you will report into one of our Portfolio Delivery Coaches.

If you like detail then this is what your day might look like:
- You will successfully deliver projects end to end within agreed financial, time and quality tolerances, ensuring adherence to VWFS UK’s delivery framework, processes and tools
- Apply appropriate methodologies (e.g. waterfall and agile) to support delivery of priority organisational change initiatives
- Develop and manage robust business cases and benefits realisation, ensuring business acceptance of plans with support from the Ways of Working Leadership team.
- Secure and define appropriate resourcing and roles & responsibilities for project team members in line with required capabilities to achieve effective outcome delivery
- Matrix management of all assigned project resources, coaching and aligning support to streamline project efficiency, motivate and maximise output
- Develop close working relationships and manage stakeholders across the organisation and outside resources; including regular status updates to Steering Committee and Board of Management
- You will working closely with operational departments to support successful acceptance into service and integration into daily running operations
