Project Manager – Remote – UK

We are hiring at OASES – Commsoft for an experienced Project Manager to join our team!

We seek a dynamic, driven project manager to join our professional services team. The successful Project Manager will lead both external and internal projects that are varied, engaging and a cornerstone to our business functionality. This position will suit experienced project managers with a solid grasp of PMO best practices. You should also enjoy a fast-paced environment where every day welcomes a new challenge.

As a Project Manager, you will join our PMO, working closely with the Delivery, Development and Customer Success teams on multi-disciplinary Projects.

We are a small team with a high degree of impact and accountability within the organisation, and we pride ourselves on approaching challenges with positivity and a will to learn.

Here is a little window into our company: Commsoft OASES is among the most successful aviation engineering and maintenance systems in the world. With more than 130 aviation customers supported in some 55 countries across six continents, including national carriers, third-party maintainers, regional carriers, leasing companies, cargo specialists, charter operators and specialist rotable stockists based in the US, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australasia, Commsoft has a very broad experience with all areas of aviation maintenance support. Commsoft OASES was acquired by Valsoft and is currently part of Aspire Software. Our new home provides Commsoft OASES with a unique opportunity to grow the company and serve a truly global client base within the Aviation management sector. Aspire Software, the operational arm of Valsoft Corp, operates and manages Valsoft's global portfolio of wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time-sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.

The candidate can be anywhere in the UK. This position can be remote or work from any of our UK offices!

What your day will look like:

  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Analyse project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
  • Manage an evolving portfolio of ongoing projects, including the onboarding, migration and software integrations of Aviation clients onto our software
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with customers and internal resources, both employees and contractors
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan

About You:

  • Previous experience in a PMO-based position
  • Previous experience in Project Management with a software business
  • Ability to clearly communicate with others and set the right expectations with their team
  • Travel required predominately across EMEA up to 25%
  • Degree qualification preferred within a technical discipline
