Role Overview
A key pillar of the Time Out sales strategy is to drive revenue growth from creativity via integrated solutions that bring together the power of the Time Out product portfolio. This role is a client-facing position, working with the creative solutions strategists and sales team to execute these creative ideas.
The position of Creative Solutions Project Manager requires a strong background in multi-platform content marketing and project management. The successful candidate will need to be an assured self-starter with experience working in a busy multi-media environment and a strong record of successful campaign delivery and high-quality content execution.
This role calls for someone who is on top of trends re: execution of those proposed campaigns via social media platforms, website platforms, print platforms and experiential platforms.
The Creative Solutions Project Manager will be responsible for managing a number of different campaigns at one time from large scale multi-media integrated partnerships and custom content solutions, to smaller commercial campaigns.
Although part of the commercial team, this role will work closely with editorial, design, production and technology operation teams to glean insight and manage commercial processes where involvement from these teams is required.
Key Responsibilities
Work in tandem with Commercial Editor on commissioning and executing custom content, including print and digital features, experiential, video and more
Collaborate with internal resource and external suppliers to create accurate and achievable project timelines
Run individual project P&Ls to ensure all projects run within stipulated profit margin
Facilitating amendment/approval process between clients and suppliers
Attending client and agency meetings and leading status updates
Schedule and optimise digital and social campaigns to deliver agreed client KPIs
Regularly report on delivery and key metrics for creative solutions campaigns, working closely with the creative solutions strategists.
Occasionally contribute to internal brainstorming sessions for collaborative concept generation and proposal making
Skills and Experience
A proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and projects
A good understanding of the cross-platform sales process and commercial projects in general
Excellent relationship-building skills internally and externally with clients and suppliers
Have at least 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a publishing environment
Ability to learn on the job to develop a working knowledge of the Time Out’s platform, technologies and processes – identifying knowledge gaps and taking the necessary steps to fill these
Maintain internal working processes within the wider commercial team
