Job Title: Client Services Project Manager

Position Summary:
The Project Manager acts as the single client interface for assigned projects. This will involve discussions with clients, development of the specifications, documentation, aspects of setting up the project. You will lead each project’s entire life cycle from setup and planning, through to execution and delivery. The job holder will also assist Project Managers with the delivery on highly complexity packaging projects when required.
With assistance from internal service providers, the candidate handles co-coordinating all operational aspects of the company's services relating to production, storage and distribution within assigned projects.
Project Level: Highly complex, complex, medium and low. These include complex packaging, just in time, Cell and Gene therapy and multiple destination simultaneous distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment of client supplied study specifications in conjunction with Quality, Operations and Procurement to help design Supply Chain solutions to meet the needs of the project.
- Overall responsibility for ensuring that activities come together in a timely manner to meet the client and study requirements.
- Provision of data and technical input to business development to help in the creation of proposals.
- Attends and assists in key project team meetings, client conferences and on-site visits. Can substitute for team members in leading meetings as the need arises.
- Coordination and communication of all Project Management related activities, both internal and external to ensure that all services and products are ready as the need arises by the client.
- Where available, use of appropriate project planning tools e.g. Microsoft Project to supervise and communicate achievements and critical path activities and responsibilities.
- Timely provision of reports and other information to clients.
- Pro-active communication with all customers. Engaging with and providing support to assigned clients and communication with project related service providers.
- Set-up of study on internal systems.
- Ensure study logistics are managed appropriately.
- Leading client and internal status meetings.
- Manage stock levels of kit materials and packaging components.
- Conduct training at Monitor / Investigator meetings as required by client.
- Provide input into writing and review of departmental SOPs, Work Instructions & Technical Agreements.
- Responsible for revenue recognition for projects and verifies final information for Accounting Department prior to invoices release.
- Monitor and record change in the scope of contracts.
- Management of Client/Site Enquiries. Log calls / issues in appropriate systems.
- Manages non-conformance and provides reports and timely resolution
- Provision of training to other members of FBS, where appropriate.
- Participation in cross-functional business process improvement activities as required.
- Communication with all levels of management, team members within FBS/FCS, and appropriate client contacts.
- To be available for overtime work as necessary to meet project or business needs.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Relevant Project Management experience.
- Able to act up to Senior PM role in absence as required.
- Understanding of the phases of a clinical trial would be an advantage.
- Experience or knowledge in the supply chain industry, packaging and logistics or supporting clinical trials within a CRO environment or equivalent.
- Understanding of GXP requirements.
- Flexible and adaptable with strong customer management skills.
- Able to analyse problems and define solutions.
- Able to work under pressure and support others within team.
- The post holder needs to have good organisational, verbal, written and numerical skills.
