Exhibition Project Coordinator or Project Manager, Northampton, £28-35k+
I have worked alongside this wonderful multi awarding company, for several years’ they have a good stable team, couple with a loyal and prestigious customer base. They have built a reputation on listening to their clients and creating, building, and delivering/installing high quality Exhibition Stands on time and within budget across the Globe.
Due to sustained and continued business growth they are now seeking an additional Project Operations Coordinator or Manager to join their team. This role will involve regular travel and when you are not out on site you will be expected to work out of the company’s office in Northampton.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be joining a warm and friendly team of Project Managers, who are responsible for handling complete project lifecycles from sign off to delivery and invoice.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage/oversee and assist with all relevant duties pre, on-site and post exhibition installation.
* Prepare and maintain accurate project plans and schedules, acting appropriately should the activity change.
* Attend Project team/planning meetings, taking ownership of projects/actions where required.
* Create and deliver the relevant crew documentation in conjunction with assigned projects.
* Working within a small team being self-motivated and willing to get involved in multiple/varied projects.
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure all elements of the project are on schedule, within budget and delivered
to a high standard.
* Communicating with show organisers in all aspects of event planning and organisation.
* Build and maintain relationships with existing contractors and suppliers.
* Produce all relevant Health & Safety documentations and ensure all submission deadlines are met.
* General project admin including placing service orders, raising PO’s and keeping all internal systems updated.
* Working closely with the UK workshop and European contractors, scheduling their travel/accommodation and transport requirements for each show.
* Create and manage all international custom documents for export and imports of non-perishable goods.
* Attending client shows during build/breakdown - UK and Overseas to ensure everything runs according to plan.
Experience & Skills
* Project Management/Coordination experience is vital
* Experience of working within the exhibition industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
* Competent in Microsoft Office Software
* Interpersonal and communication skills
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work under pressure
* Project Management
* Knowledge of Auto-CAD (desirable but not essential)
* Confident in travelling alone or as part of a team
* Valid passport and driving licence

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
