The Disabilities Trust are looking to appoint a Project Manager to join our PMO/Technology Team based at our Central Support Services Office in Burgess Hill**.**
The Disabilities Trust is a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK. Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support people to regain the skills they have lost. The Role:
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from concept to close down, and the successful delivery of projects across the trust. You will work under the direction of the Senior Project Manager.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Adhere to the governance and project management processes in place within the PMO
- Play an integral role throughout the project lifecycle from concept through to close down.
- Plan, manage and coordinate activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Record and manage project risks and issues, using a RAID log, escalating to the Senior Project Manager and/or Sponsor as required
- Develop and maintain project timelines reporting on project progress to the Sponsor and other senior stakeholders as required.
- Manage changes to scope ensuring changes are escalated and approved by the Project Sponsor
- Produce project documentation to a high standard to support the delivery of the project
- Chairing project meetings and workshops as and when required ensuring actions are documented and followed up
We're looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:
- Willingness to work towards a project management qualification
- Knowledge of project documentation including RAID logs and project plans
