Job description

Directorate: Children and Family Services

Section: Transformation and Improvement

Grade: 12

Actual Salary: £40,478 - £43,516

Hours: 37

This advert is open to Internal and External applicants.

This is a fixed term post for 2 years.

Stoke-on-Trent is on the up! Do you have the energy and drive to be part of the improvement journey? Do you have values that ensure that those around you feel a part of the journey and valuable agents of change? Are you a positive leader and will you look for every opportunity to improve services for the people we serve?

We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join the children and family services transformation team and be a key part of delivering our improvement journey and Room to Grow strategy.

As a project manager you will lead projects that make a difference for children and young people in the city. This includes working with and motivating key stakeholders, compiling programme documentation, and delivering specific project workstreams.

For example, projects might include the roll-out of a Family Hub network across the city to provide local, joined-up support at the earliest stage; delivery of our new young people's learning and skills strategy; and transforming our education services to provide the best possible support to children and families.

Now is your chance to be part of the next chapter in transforming the services the City Council delivers and the lives of the residents we serve.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss the role in more detail, please contact Anna Jennings.

Previous applicants need not apply.
