Project Manager
Solent University is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work within the Corporate Project Management Office, supporting the organisation in the successful delivery of its digital and business change portfolio.

You will be managing 2-4 concurrent projects (depending on size and complexity), leading initiatives from inception to business handover. From estimating and planning projects, to integrating and coordinating the contributions of internal and external teams, you will ensure successful delivery and the realisation of business outcomes and benefits. You'll need to be confident working with a high degree of autonomy and prioritising work accordingly.
We also need our Project Managers to be able to influence and negotiate change, and to lead and motivate small teams in a matrix management environment.
The Corporate Project Management Office works on wide-ranging projects, which may involve the selection and implementation of digital solutions; identifying operational improvements and driving efficiencies; and re-imaging spaces within the estate to deliver the best possible student experience. All our projects have a strong focus on quality and business benefit delivery. As a member of our highly regarded team, you will also have the opportunity to influence the University’s strategic portfolio and further the evolution of our Corporate Project Management Office.
The role will report to the Head of Strategic Delivery but will liaise closely with Digital teams in the delivery of digital and business change initiatives.
