What you'll do:
- Working with the Head of Projects and Project Programme Heads to lead and manage high-quality flexible workplace design and construction projects on time, on budget and to the highest levels of colleague satisfaction ensuring key sustainability targets are met and that everyone goes home safely every day.
- Work very closely with other members of the Workplace and wider Sky team – including Accommodation Strategy & Commercial and third party professionals, along with internal Service, IT & Broadcast Teams – to ensure that the requirements of our colleagues are clearly understood and agreed, and that the brief is clear and fits with the overall Sky workplace strategy
- Maintaining the Project Process, Toolkit and Tracker as it applies to projects – ensuring transparent and effective governance on all projects
- Being across best practices in project management – sharing this knowledge with the team & helping develop a world class project delivery process.
- Work with the Programme Heads on leading on change management where this applies to projects, ensuring workplace schemes are understood by, and effective for our colleagues.
What you'll bring:
- A degree associated with Workplace, Construction, Surveying or Project Management’ and working towards a professional qualification (RICS / APM or equivalent)
- Proven and varied Project Management and team leadership experience, including an understanding of the RIBA plan of work
- A detailed knowledge of UK construction legislation, regulations and code including H&S and commercial aspects.
- An assertive and strong PM who knows how to get the best out of the project team and specialists, driving creative solutions through good communication, interpersonal, presentation and creative skills
- Highly organised, able to quickly predict and identify potential issues, deep-dive to find solutions while being flexible understanding that the needs to the business constantly evolve
- Passionate about workplace and construction, seeing great concepts translated into reality and creating market leading new environments that positively affect end user experience and productivity
