The Digital Identity Service
Access to public services is key. Our mission is to provide users with a safe, easy way to prove who they are and access the services they are entitled to.
Sitting in the Cloud and Digital Services division of the Digital Directorate, our work is core to the wider Digital Strategy of the Scottish Government helping valuable public services to be delivered securely, efficiently in an accessible way. As a valued member of the team, your work could be used by millions and benefit everyone across Scotland!

1. An established track record of working in a structured Project Management environment.
2. An established track record of working in fast changing environments and engaging successfully across teams and scottish government departments more widely.
3. Ability to engage confidently and communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with people, establish good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
4. Strong awareness in and management of procurement and software licensing processes.

As PMO Support you will play a pivotal role across all aspects of the Programme. You will working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a complex digital programme, driving forward progress at pace and to agreed timescales, managing competing priorities and building a culture of continuous delivery and improvement, ensuring that key processes
are regularly analysed, maintained and improved.
- Deal with administration of the hiring process liaising with high level management, Digital Resources and Digital Purchasing; 10%
- Liaison with Digital Resources to manage access for interim contractors and external development partners; 10%
- Onboarding of permanent staff, new contractors both internal and external, and development partners, implementing the new JML process; 10%
- Lead the administration and support of Digital Identity Program Board/ Expert Group/ Stakeholder Group engagement; 5%
- Providing secretariat support for Security and Technical Working Groups supporting the set-up; 5%
- Provide Secretariat support to Governance structures, setting calendar invites, circulating papers and co-ordinating members to contribute to meetings and workshops as required; 10%
- Management and operation of all collaborative tool suite (Google Drive, Trello, Confluence/Jira, Slack, MS Teams for business and objective connect; 10%
- First point of contact when new licenses are requested by the team and liaise with Digital Purchasing to obtain; 5%
- IMSO - Information management support officers - are the first point of contact in your business area, for records management queries and use of the electronic record and document management (eRDM) system. 5%
- Work with Project Managers to proactively plan programme activities and documenting progress; 5%
- Assist in managing the implementation of Planview - a new strategy for delivery tool - for Cloud and Digital Services Division; 5%
- Run a quarterly audit of all the licenses within the division to ensure current team members, contractors and external development partners have the correct permissions; 5%
- General problem solving, locating/purchasing specialised equipment for divisional members, communicating ongoing issues with team members and raising with ITecs to resolve. 15%
