The Company: Roland Europe Group Ltd
Roland is a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of electronic musical instruments including keyboards & synthesisers, guitar products, electronic percussion kits, digital recording equipment, amplifiers and audio processing devices.
Role Purpose:
To assist the Head of IT (GSU) in managing global IT projects.
Role Accountabilities:
- To determine project goals and set up and implement a strategy accordingly to drive projects and measure progress
- Determine and manage timeframe, budget, and reporting
- Coordinate the project teams: co-managing the development schemes and individual responsibilities within those teams
- Collaborate closely with colleagues responsible for business analysis to identify process improvements
- Drive functional analysis and business process modelling
- Maintain strong communication and reporting to all stakeholders with regard to scope, budget, planning and quality
- Contribute to the instalment of a PMO within the organisation
Experience, Skills & Qualifications required:
- At least 3 years of experience in IT project management, coordination, and business analysis
- Strong skills in project management and leadership to coordinate project teams
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Trust and confidentiality are important to you
- Proven organisational and time management skills
- You are meticulous in managing budgets and deadlines
- You are familiar with IT security and rules including GDPR, PCI, DSS, JSOX
- You feel strongly about working in an ITIL environment and are driven to promote and nurture a change management culture.
- You are a team player, strong communicator, friendly and creative
- You work well under pressure
- You are fluent in English
Desirable but not essential:
- You are a musician and have a passion for music
- You can build on prior experience in sales, logistics and/or supply chain environments
- You can speak another language
