RecruitME is currently recruiting for a FFTH Telecoms Project Manager to work in the Melton Mowbray, Newark and Grantham areas on an extensive new full fibre rollout.
We are working exclusively with a full fibre business that is investing in a new full fibre network across the East of England and East Midlands.
They are using next-generation technology to power its multi-gigabit fibre network, with global suppliers including Nokia, Linksys, Fujikura and Salesforce.
The Project Manager will be the point of contact for ensuring appropriate actions are taken with and by contractors whilst carrying out field-based activities. You’ll sit amongst a highly experienced Build Delivery Team responsible for a variety of tasks to support the delivery of a quality FTTH network.

What you’ll be doing
· Drive the delivery of the build programme, working with stakeholders to deliver on-time, safely and to standard
· Engagement with the Highways Authority, ensuring that statutory legislation is adhered to
· Take commercial ownership for the builds and maintain budgets
· Report into the Build Delivery Director and provide reports on forecasting and progression of the fibre build
What we’re looking for
· Good understanding of fibre-based telecommunications and FTTH network build
· Experience of delivering to pre-defined project schedules
· Subcontractor management/auditing in the field
· Good understanding of wayleaves / Network Access
· Understanding and interpretation of risk assessments & method statements
· Have an awareness of Construction Design Management Regulations Qualifications
· Working knowledge of the Openreach PIA product, standards & rules
· NRSWA accreditation
