VARIO PROJECT MANAGER
Role Overview
Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role can be based in our Birmingham office or our Manchester office.
We are recruiting our first Project Manager to support our growth. The team is spread between Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow. Successful applicants will be rewarded with a varied role at the cutting-edge of change in the legal sector and a chance to be involved in the growth and development of a thriving business.
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests. We operate an agile/hybrid working model and we typically work in the office three days per week.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
- Comprehensive track record of enterprise-wide project implementations with a business focus, experience of a broad range of project delivery techniques including Agile methodology and change management techniques.
- Experience managing, leading, and inspiring project team members in a project delivery model where there is no direct line management responsibility.
- Experience of following project delivery best practices, policies, procedures and processes with ability to adapt them as appropriate to meet the specific needs of the project.
- Experience in procurement process, selection and engagement of third-party providers and ongoing relationship management of third-party implementation partner and/or solution provider.
- Good understanding of strategic themes, epics, features, product management and product ownership techniques and principles.
- Legal sector or professional services experience gained in an international firm.
