JOB PURPOSE:
The Value Based Care (VBC) Project Manager will be a key asset for the value based care team to help drive both new VBC projects as we launch new initiatives for existing and new Commercial & Government payers as well as also serve to help manage various more established programs for value based care. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and administering the project approach, project structure & charter development, ongoing project planning, coordinating kick-off, scheduling meetings, tracking progress, driving on action items/goals accountability, maintaining project documentation and seeking to ensure the successful project completion including ongoing process improvement efforts.
Planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes defining the project’s objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle. The Project Manager will partner with key organizational and operational leaders to identify and achieve priorities, goals, and objectives for each initiative. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assesses and analyzes financial, operational and market data to evaluate service line performance and develop strategic plans.
2. Provides project management, on-going support, follow-up analysis, and implementation support for organizational projects with widely varying scope.
3. Provides project leadership for small and mid-sized projects; building strong cross-functional relationships to ensure that all stakeholders are appropriately engaged.
4. Presents and communicates in a professional and effective manner.
5. Creates, maintains, and updates project documentation including work plans, status reports, and issue logs.
6. Accountable for developing and monitoring project performance indicators.

Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with the following computer applications: Microsoft Office, Flowchart/Visio and Database Applications.
Data analysis and PC software, including presentation software, spreadsheets, and Word processing.
Advanced computer skills.
Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in Healthcare, Engineering, Business Administration or a closely related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Four years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR three years of progressively responsible and relevant experience required with a Master’s degree.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
EDUCATION PREFERRED:
A Master’s degree in Healthcare, Engineering, Business Administration or a closely related field.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in project management office or consulting firm. Experience with project and personnel supervision and budget management.
