At Park Air Systems, a leading global organisation based just outside Peterborough, which has recently been awarded PLATINUM Level in Investors in People Accreditation (only 2% of organisations achieve platinum), we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager who will be solely responsible for the performance of the projects assigned to them from bidding, award and delivery, through to project closure.

You will be organised, decisive, ready to challenge and naturally motivated. You will possess good analytical skills along with excellent interpersonal and negotiating abilities. Being an effective communicator to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all stakeholders.

You will ideally possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management discipline, preferably in an international arena. It is essential that you possess demonstrable expertise in the delivery of a number of projects simultaneously, and the creation of MS Project to manage both schedule and cost.

Your key responsibilities and duties within the role of Project Manager will consist of being accountable for the end to end project delivery lifecycle in the following areas:

When assigned to a Bid Team:

· Responsibility for for review and extraction of requirements from ITT/RFQ/RFP to support the bid.

· Provide inputs into the proposal, in line with the required documentation typically, these are the PMP, Statement of Work, and Compliance Matrices.

· Accountability for the collection and collation of all internal and external costs for the project.

When assigned as Project Manager for a particular contract:

· Accountability for the successful delivery of projects meeting all requirements both on budget, and to schedule, whilst supporting the technical specification/requirements.

· Providing predictability and consistency in project performance, revenue and cash milestone delivery.

· Conduct proactive risk management through the project lifecycle.

· Review contract documentation and resolve any issues and/or ambiguities.

· Comprehensive understanding of contractual terms and conditions.

· Experience working with all levels of engineering and technical staff.

· Ability to work on own initiative in cross-department and a global environment.

· Demonstrable experience of proposal work on high value, with complex deliverables.

· Possess an organised approach enabling the timely delivery of competing priorities.

· In-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.

· Ability to identify, capture and mitigate risks.

· Highly self-motivated, positive and flexible
