Great opportunity to work for a mid-sized international E&P Company as a Senior Project Manager for Instrument Telecom Engineering, on a flagship international mega offshore gas project.
The Role:
- Become a proactive member of the Shallow Water Platform delivery team addressing issues early and highlighting issues to the Delivery Manager early for swift resolution.
- Technical responsibility for Instrumentation and Telecoms scope for the platform and technical management of EPC contractor.
- Providing I&T expertise, advice, and guidance to the team
- Assist the Engineering Manager and Delivery Manager in the delivery of a safe and operable Neptun Alpha platform that meets all regulatory requirements, within schedule and budget.
Requirements:
- Must have working knowledge and experience of instrumentation, telecoms and control discipline relevant onshore oil and gas industry codes, specifications and practices
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Instrument & Telecom engineering design.
- Thorough awareness of relevant international codes and standards.
- Experience in Field Instrument & Valves (Safety Valves, Shutdown Valves, Control Valves) Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor package management.
- Experience of ICSS (PCS, SIS, FGS) preferably Honeywell Experion System.
- Experience in EPC jobs.
- Experience of the application of HAZOP, HAZID and SIL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good Oral and Communication skills.
- Must have good interpersonal skills/team player.
- Experience of SPI (INtools), Flow Meter and Control Valve Sizing Software (InstruCalc, Fisher Valve Specification etc.) and MS-OFFICE.
- Very good understanding of IEC 61511 & its implications in control system design
- Very good understanding of IEC 62443 & its implications in control system
