As an ideal candidate, you will possess a passion for all nightlife and serving the communities within this. You will ideally have an excellent track record of project management ideally within a nightlife setting, however, transferable experience is welcome. You will be responsible for working with our team of dedicated nightlife specialists who provide bespoke, creative solutions to help businesses, cities and towns thrive at night, with a focus on managing projects, stakeholder engagement, and clients.
As a person, you will need to be engaging, and reliable, with good communication skills, enjoy partnership working and be very resourceful. You will be working with our established Night Time Strategy Team. You will work with our wider project management team to roll out Nighttime Economy Strategies, Women's Safety Projects and create toolkits for towns and cities around the world on improving safety of cities and towns after dark and nightlife spaces.
This is a full-time home-based role as we recruit on strengths and skills, not location, working UK time with some l travel and night working expected.
This role is a mid-level position with the opportunity to progress as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management
- Managing Night Time Strategies for towns, cities, London boroughs and night life businesses from start to finish
- Working with the Stakeholder Engagement team to perform phone calls, meetings, surveys and stakeholder workshops with organisations such as the Police, Council, BIDs, nightlife venues, users and non-users of nighttime economy, transport providers etc
- Undertake Night Time Research both desk-based and in person
- Working with the research and report writing team to write the strategies
- Working with our overnight audits team to perform overnight audits
- Supporting clients as we implement post-night time economy strategy toolkits such as women’s safety charters, and male behaviour change toolkits and supporting nightlife and festival businesses to implement safety change programmes
- Supporting nightlife and festival businesses to adopt safety policies and practices
- Working with clients, providing support and information where required relating to safety projects.
- Performing other relevant duties when needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in project management (2+ years)
- Demonstratable passion and understanding of nightlife
- Proficient in a variety of computer software applications or willing to learn including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Powerpoint), Slack, Xero, Google Docs, and Asana and able to pick up new software packages easily
- Competent use of social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn)
- Comfortable and competent in handling confidential information
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Friendly, personable, efficient and flexible
- Effective communication skills both written and oral
- Willingness to travel around the UK and Global locations
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative problem solving
- Calm under pressure in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

- This is a mid-level role. As a female-led business, we are keen to hear from female and diverse candidates even if your experience is not quite an exact match, we will consider transferable skills.
- You will be line managed by our Head of Projects and report to our Founding Director. You will be part of a wider team which includes our Founding Director, Head of Oeperations, 4 project managers, 15 grant writers and fundraising specialists, 7 trainers, 3 policing specialists and other specialists.
- We are a living wage employer and this role has been graded at a starting salary of £28k to 33k per year + pension
