About the role
The Technology Solutions (TS) Projects team requires a Project Manager to deliver Technology (Data, Digital, IT) projects in line with the Museum’s ambitious digital strategy. The Project Manager will be assigned projects from a wide range of areas, (e.g. HR, Estates, Finance, Security, Science, Digital Workplace) giving the role holder a chance to work across the varying departments of the museum and the opportunity to always learn something new.
Working in a varied and evolving role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of technology software, including procurement, application implementations, system upgrades and continuous business improvement.
About you
The role requires a strong leader who is able to take charge and work with people effectively at all levels across and outside of the Museum, using well-developed influencing and interpersonal skills. It requires someone who is flexible and shows initiative to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances. The role holder will ensure effective delivery within time and budget restraints and manage third party clients and suppliers.
