Job Description

A long standing Architects practice, based on the Lichfield side of Birmingham have updated me about their forecasted workload - with 2 Multi-million pound schemes being green-lighted in the next few weeks.

They will be working on a 36m very large Gloucester Project and the current projects will be Retirement Villages and Luxury Apartments.

This practices bread and butter is Residential Design, and have been operating in / around the Midlands for the last 25 years.

The practice is made up of 2 Partners, and a team of highly talented Technicians, Architects and more junior assistant level staff.

They have no desire to switch to Revit anytime soon, and so if this is a software you'd be looking to gain exposure to - this may not be the right long term role for you

Looking to take on a minimum of 2 professionals to be in a good position resource-wise, ahead of these very large schemes coming through.

1st Role (Highest Priority)

Looking for a very competent Project Lead (Architect / Technical Architect / Job Runner) that has circa 10 years + in practice AutoCAD proficiency

They'd be interested in speaking to Associate / Director level candidates and for the right person, could pay up to circa £65,000 PA for the right person, to start at Director level.

Looking for someone to jump straight into these projects and help instantly with the delivery and all assist with all stages of these new, upcoming projects

2nd Role (Replacement)

More Junior, AutoCAD Technician with circa 5-6 years in practice/ solid freelance experience working on ideally Residential schemes.

This practice's business model works best on a 5 day a week, and so it would be important to note that you will have to be within a commutable radius of the practice.

Salary on offer will range between £25 - 35,000 PA for this individual
