Mpeople Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Project Administrator (Construction Industry) to join a well-established and thriving organisation based in Oldham (OL4). This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator with great attention to detail to join a reputable local employer, within an interesting and varied role.

  • Location: Oldham
  • Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 (dependent on experience and skill-set)
  • Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday, & 8.30am – 4.30pm Fridays

As the Office Administrator, your day-to-day duties would include:

  • Receive and allocate incoming calls in line with company procedures
  • To complete all required project admin for the Fit Out and Refurbishment team including Site Set Ups, Drawings, Drawing Registers, Subcontractor Orders, Meeting Minutes and Health and Safety O&M manuals
  • Compile and issue ad-hoc reports as requested
  • Manage the subcontractor database
  • Manage the company process for archiving
  • Responsible for hotel & transport bookings
  • Responsible for the ordering and monitoring of all company stationery
  • Maintain office equipment, servicing, repairs, meter readings
  • Maintain phone list, reception signing in sheets and update computerised extension numbers
  • Ad hoc administrative duties for Office Manager
  • Project Team filing
  • Receive visitors for the Fit Out and Refurbishment team
  • Provide refreshments for the Fit Out and Refurbishment team meetings
  • Undertake Fire Marshall and First Aid duties for the company

The required traits, skills, and background to be considered for this Office Administrator role are:

  • Administrative experience within the construction industry is ESSENTIAL to be considered for this role
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy, and able to maintain this within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to build rapport and strong working relationships
  • A great work ethic and enthusiastic nature – ‘can do’ attitude
  • Thrives from working within a fast-paced office environment
  • A helpful team player that can also work efficiently on their own
