Job description
About The Role
Excited? We think these roles are broader than just tech project management.
Results are important, but we’re in this for the long haul and ‘how’ we get there really matters. We’ve got some big teams, many of whom work remotely, to deliver our changes. We see being able to nurture a happy motivated team where everyone feels valued as a core part of these new roles. Alongside that, our dream candidate will ‘get the tech’ but be able to tread the boards with the business as well.
We need people who are ‘self starters’ for this role, there will be plenty of support in the background but we’re looking for people who can create a buzz.
- Responsibility for multi-million pound projects. From shaping and inception through to delivery.
- Stakeholder management, internally across technology and business teams and externally with multiple suppliers.
- Ownership and shaping of short- and mid-term development plans.
- Responsibility for the delivery approach for the development teams, ensuring we evolve and move with the times on best practice.
- Budgetary responsibility for project spend and benefits realisation.
- Ensuring projects have a smooth transition into support.
- Accountability for team wellbeing, effectiveness and happiness.
