WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this opportunity:
As Project Manager you will have a focus on supporting activity within the Data Lab and the delivery team to ensure the fundamentals of Project Management excellence are achieved, this includes analysis, governance, planning, budget control and delivering value.

You will also get involved in Project activity, which will focus upon technical related delivery aspects and supporting governance.

We prioritise delivery of the technical data requirements to support the Transforming Finance initiative by engaging with the delivery teams and understanding their need and delivering change in an agile and collaborative way. What you’ll be doing:
  • You'll role model your skills and experience, build space to learn and collaborate, demonstrate resilience and adaptability, confidence and a desire to innovate and test new ideas.
  • Understand, embrace and select with confidence the most appropriate tools and methods to deliver change. Building relationships across role communities, change teams and business areas to maximise opportunities for continuous improvement through shared learnings. Coaching others in your team to achieve delivery excellence is also a key to the role.
  • Supporting change activities within the workstream, working in collaboration with the Lab Product Owners and project team. Delivering to agreed scope, cost, quality and timescales.
  • Ensuring project objectives are met, using risk management systems to ensure the organisation is not exposed to undue risk.
  • Building connections across LBG and understanding supporting processes, procedures and toolsets.
  • Managing dependencies across the workstreams to ensure that work is delivered in line with overall Programme timescales.
  • Implementing a detailed delivery approach for each stage of the project lifecycle, producing and owning project management deliverables, using relevant methodologies, to the right level of quality.

What you’ll need:
Essential
  • You're a dynamic and adaptable individual – able to use & learn new skills & knowledge in varying circumstances
  • You’re able to remain calm and lead the team effectively through constrained timescales and difficult initiatives
  • You've a well-developed communication kit bag with extensive customer management experience
  • You can influence partners of all levels and balance partner expectations, facilitating discussions across high risk and complexity or under constrained timescales.
  • You’ll be skilled in Leading and minimising risks and you'll influence positively - demonstrating values and behaviours that align to our Group's, and encouraging this in team members.
Desirable
  • Experience of both FastPath and Optimus delivery; proficient in the use of all core Change tools (CMT, Clarity and JIRA)
  • Experience of engaging and working with our partners, such as IBM and TCS and/or other external software vendors to LBG such as Oracle.
  • A learning mindset, aiming to grow own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities
  • An ability to adopt new ways of working and finding a way to incorporate agile practices
  • Familiarisation with Group Transformation Principles and Practices
