We now have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join Legal & General Group to help deliver a business critical project within our group Legal department on a an initial 7 month fixed-term contract.

What you'll be doing
- In this new role you'll be taking the end to end responsibility for establishing and maintaining the correct structures to control and monitor the deliverables to the business to realise the benefits as defined in the Business Case.
- You'll also lead on project planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting activities ensuring that comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained and issues are actively managed through to their successful resolution.
- As expected in any project management role you'll be tasked to deliver effective communication to all interested parties including stakeholders and Senior Managers to support effective decision-making and manage the smooth and integrated delivery of projects.
- You'll be expected to understand the impact the projects have on the Business Unit and strive to lessen the impact to a minimum possible in close cooperation with Senior Business Managers.
- You'll be managing third party relationships ensuring that dependencies are identified and managed and deliverables are achieved.
- Understands the principles of decision discretion and agrees with sponsor the appropriate thresholds
Is proficient in the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation. Example: PRINCE2, AGILE or APM
Is proficient in the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the preparation and monitoring of budgets to minimise costs and ensure cost-effectiveness
Is proficient in the techniques for ensuring that full account is taken of customers' real and stated needs in the delivery of products and services, i.e. Mission Model, Process mapping
