We’re looking for Project Manager to join our Highways team based in Birmingham/Gloucester to work within our Highways Major Project team based in the Midlands and Southern Region. Location: Birmingham/Gloucester - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Contract: Permanent – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know
Salary: £40k - £50k
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you’ll support the Pre-Construction Manager and Senior Project Managers in delivering the design Programme.
Your day to day will include:
- Working closely with the construction team, drive a construction lead approach to design, ensuring a smooth transition from design to construction
- Supporting digital approach to design and construction, working within a CDE environment
- Monitoring and tracking design programme and managing our design alliance partners to deliver design to programme and budget
- Drive efficiencies within design and capture change
- Manage and escalation of risk.
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great for you if have a:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience of working on major Highway schemes ideally for National Highways, with an understanding of the governance and assurance process.
- Managing Highways design programme and budgets
