Location: Slough, England, United Kingdom (Remote with one day per week in client Slough office)


ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Project Manager role will be underpinned by passion and ambition, and those with experience in leading digital content and social campaigns within a creative agency will have an advantage. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the strategy, creative and production workflow. Working with our Brand Partners and alongside our existing team of Project Managers to drive a project from brief to delivery. The role is very client-facing facing and we are looking for someone with a tactile approach to challenging conversations and a drive to build rapport. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of digital disciplines and be confident working in an agency environment. Owning the creation and maintenance of timing plans and budgets, you will handle the review and approval process of creative output to ensure projects run on time and to budget. You will need to work well with creative teams and be passionate about creativity, producing the best product possible. Process is key, and someone who really respects and understands how to keep things in check while encouraging creative freedom will be an asset to the team. What we want to see is a strong experience in managing complex projects. You should have meticulous attention to detail, understand the importance of the profitability of your projects for the agency. You will be a safe pair of hands on the day-to-day running of multiple large-scale campaigns. Most importantly this role requires a courteous, positive, and high-energy individual with great people skills. We value drive and determination, and we want to have fun doing it.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

Project Set Up

  • Taking project management responsibility for integrated creative projects from brief through to fulfillment.
  • Being the key point of contact for brand teams.
  • Working closely with Brand Partners, strategy, and creative teams in delivering advertising strategy and milestones for the client.
  • Liaising with clients to determine campaign scope and produce estimates and schedules.
  • Identifying, exploiting, and managing ad hoc opportunities when they arise.
  • Estimating complex, cross-platform projects.

Project Delivery

  • Schedule projects in line with the correct internal resource and help to manage resource needs across the team.
  • Ensure projects follow the agency process and are completed on time and to budget.
  • Work closely with Digital Producers to unify skills needed to execute integrated campaigns.
  • Motivate and manage teams under tight deadlines.
  • Educate and manage internal stakeholders in relevant production processes where necessary.
  • Drive efficiency and creative excellence always.

Reporting

  • Provide job progress and budget reporting to the Brand Partner/Business Director on a regular basis.
  • Understand how to report and manage scope and income for your projects.
  • Escalates any queries concerning estimates provided by the studio on your projects.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Experience managing digital and integrated campaigns in a creative and production agency.
  • To be unafraid to ask questions, identify and manage project risk.
  • Strong track record in executing campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • To be used to leveraging the experience of video and photography Producers as part of an integrated approach to campaign execution.
  • Previous experience of project budget management and scheduling.
  • Previous experience of sourcing resource and production services.
  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships.
  • To have a positive, can-do outlook, willing to leverage experience to provide the best solution for each project you own.
  • To be financially conscientious, ensuring all relevant parties are aware of financial implications of delays, additional amends, and re-briefs.
  • To be able to verify the qualitative and quantitative output of a project against the project objectives.
  • To act as the first line of contact and digital expert for the Client and Brand Partners in the life cycle of a digital project.
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
  • Knowledge of creating content for CMSs and E-commerce would be an advantage.
