Project manager - refurbishment, structural
6 month contract immediate start
Salary: 60,000 - 70,000

Our Client is based in the mayfair area of london. they specialise in buildings and new developments across London. they are looking for a Project manager specialising in refurbishment who can work closely with the directors staff and leaseholders to delevop a close and detailed knowledge of their buildings and ensuring a smooth seamless service in communication and reporting.
about the role
as a project manager you will be responsible for 3-4 projects at one time leading a refurbishment team on occupied projects.
Key duties
Managing Projects on site in the Mayfair area
Handle 3-4 projects at one time
Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers
Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines.
Estimating costs
Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard
Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending.
Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email, or meetings in person
Negotiating with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors
manage projects up to 3-4 projects 100,000- 2 million
Control the projects oversee the construction and contract admin, would be expected to take on a QS role especially in lower value project
The ideal candidate would have:
A background in construction
at least 3 years experience in a project manager role
Experience in managing occupied properties
a background in Refurbishment
strong IT skills
strong communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
