Humber Recruitment are recruiting for a Project Manager for a valued client of ours based in Immingham.
Responsibilities: To manage Senior Supervisors, Supervisors and Employees within the delivery of Catalyst Handling from conception to completion in accordance with our client's recognised standards of productivity, quality, commercial parameters and compliance with essential Health and Safety provisions and to deliver projects allocated to them in accordance with standards above.
Customer Responsibilities
· Forge relationships with the client with regard to project delivery on the sites within your area
· Liaise closely with end user, site team and client, as necessary, to identify and scope new work projects at the designated establishments
· Liaise closely with site team whilst planning projects to ensure site knowledge and ongoing requirements are fully incorporated in the planning process
Technical Responsibilities
· Control and manage all activities on Catalyst Handling and Tank Cleaning Services projects and ensure that contractors carry out the works to fulfil their obligations within agreed timescales, and in accordance with all statutory and mandatory requirements and all other legislation and standards
· Prepare technical specifications, schedules of work, contract documentation etc.
· Monitor and manage the effective delivery of projects within area of responsibility.
· Prepare and regularly update project programmes, providing written reports and documentation as required.
· Produce and maintain Project Management Plans for those projects allocated to them
· Monitor Direct Service Providers (DSPs) and Supply Chain performance, service delivery, quality and safe working on site.
· Provide sufficient and timely supervision, assessment and coaching to ensure teams are performing to agreed service and production levels.
· Perform audits on completed and in progress works.
· Ensure projects are closed out and all certification, warranties etc are obtained and filed appropriately.
· Personally carry out periodic site Health and Safety audits
Staff Responsibilities
· Act as line manager for supervisors and contractors within Service Delivery Area including performance management, assistance with recruitment etc
Commercial Responsibilities
· Invite quotations and prices from the approved supply chain; review and evaluate returned prices, liaise with contractors as necessary to ensure that prices are fully compliant with KPIs and within the project costs accepted by the client.
· Prepare and update target costs liaising with the Project Support Manager where necessary, and ensuring that the Service Delivery Manager is kept fully appraised of project costs
· Manage the works to meet cost parameters and commitments and to obtain value for money (VFM)

Essential Competencies
· Experience of managing multiple projects ranging in value up to £1m
· Experience of managing people across a number of sites

Desirable Competencies
· Experience of supervisory management in a demanding industrial services environment
· Practical experience in the petrochemical or oil gas services

Training & Qualifications
Essential Requirement
HNC level qualification
Good knowledge of CDM Regulations
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
APMP or Prince2

Familiarity with the sites and equipment for which responsible
