Project Manager - Christchurch
We have a great opportunity to join a large Defence business, working within the IT and Engineering team. The role is based in Christchurch with hybrid working. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO THIS LOCATION.
The role will require you to be eligible for security clearance. To be eligible for security clearance, you must have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
What you’ll be doing:
- Management of the project delivery, planning and monitoring
- Managing project budget and schedule
- The identification, development and management of stakeholder relationships
- Accurate reporting of project status to team members, leadership and external stakeholders
- Ensuring project and quality management processes are effectively applied
- Supporting project quality and lifecycle management reviews
- Identifying and managing project risks, opportunities and issues
- Managing product safety reviews
- Mentoring of team members, providing guidance and support
As part of the project team, you will be expected to work closely with team members, and support the team and/or project leadership in daily activities.
Your skills and experiences:
- Previous experience of project management tools and techniques and leading teams
- Working to defined and structured lifecycle processes with formal gate reviews, and continuous improvement
- Strategic planning, risk management and/or change management is beneficial
- Working to quality standards and qualifications, such as AS9100 would be desirable

Salary: £55,000.00-£69,000.00 per year
