Here at GXO Logistics, we are on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager to join our successful project team on a permanent basis. You’ll apply your project and programme management expertise, skills, tools and techniques to assigned projects across various customers and sectors. You’ll be delivering large and often complex projects ensuring delivery is within scope, budget and timelines on behalf of GXO Logistics and our customers. Our head office is in Northampton, however, this role can be based anywhere in the UK as you'll be travelling to GXO/ customer sites each week.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £75,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. In addition, we are offering a company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Delivering varied projects from complex warehouse and transport operational start-ups including warehouse management system implementations and mechanisation through to simple site transitions and operational enhancements- Leading and motivating the project and programme work streams including the delivery teams
- Capturing and documenting the project requirements and outcomes in order estimate required resources and timelines
- Preparing business cases, as required, to secure funding and investments as required by GXO Logistics
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Extensive experience of delivering large scale and complex projects and/ or programmes within the logistics industry- A strong track record of leading the delivery of measurable value projects against time and budget constraints
- Experience within healthcare/ pharmaceuticals would be desirable
- A Prince2 qualification or similar would be advantageous
- A structured and methodical approach with meticulous attention to detail
