Role Summary
Project Managers are responsible for overseeing the construction and delivery of a range of solar projects in the UK. The role oversees the wider team throughout development, construction, commissioning and then the turnover to our Operations Department. Project Managers are required to assist in defining the EPC scopes of work for projects nearing construction, and to plan and track progress on active construction projects. The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects, and to travel regularly to inspect major construction milestones, progress, and budget.

Main Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage a high-performing team, define RFPs, and scope of work packages
- Align team objectives with company objectives, conduct due diligence, and act as EPC project manager
- Review design drawings, manage change requests, and facilitate permitting and approvals
- Manage internal teams and deliverables, ensure quality control, and lead project status meetings
- Develop policies, procedures, and safety management systems
- Generate reports and attend site regularly
- Take projects through PAC and handover to O&M
- Undertake all tasks as instructed by the company

- Budget and profit margins on utility-scale projects
- Approval limits for subcontracts and purchase orders
- Schedule and project completion programs on time per budget

- Support the H&S team in technical, quality and safety, utilizing systems in place to ensure sites are compliant
Person Specification
Essential
- 6-8 years’ professional experience in project management
- Technical knowledge across civil, electrical and structural disciplines
- Proficiency in Excel and scheduling tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full Clean UK driving licence
