Excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a respected global player in the oil and gas industry.
The role of the Project Manager is to manage the execution of engineering and fabrication projects for the Canadian and US markets. The project manager is responsible to direct the project team effort in the completion of engineering, design, and fabrication for these projects.
Typical projects could include:
- Front end engineering or FEED studies
- Gas compression packages, including air, CO2, natural gas and hydrogen
- Gas processing packages and facilities
- Balance of plant modules such a fuel gas skids, heat medium, product transfer and storage
- Power generation packages and facilities
In this role, the successful candidate will bring strong communication skills, matched with sound technical, problem solving and decision-making abilities. Your aptitude in steering the project team to the successful completion of accurate and timely project deliverables while managing the customer, will enable you to deliver the results you need to be successful in this role. You must be able to work effectively within a multi-team environment and seek to be collaborative across all disciplines.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain effective and efficient awareness, communication, and reporting with all project team members both internal and external.
- Ensure strict cost controls and scope management.
- Ensure project deliverables are compliant with Enerflex standards, applicable codes, customer specifications, and technical completeness.
- Concurrent management of multiple projects.
- Compiling and overseeing project schedule timelines.
- Initiating as required all internal / external meetings.
- Fielding technical and project execution questions and facilitating solutions to problems.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Strong computer and office suite skills are required.
- A background in engineering, design, applications, or manufacturing considered an asset.
- Relevant Gas Processing experience considered an asset.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification considered an asset.
- Strong self-starter skills and ability to perform successfully with limited supervision.
- Familiar with related Canadian Codes and Standards considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work closely in a team environment with all internal / external stakeholders.
- Strong Interpersonal, Time Management and Organizational Skills are required with demonstrated focus on quality, accuracy and thoroughness.
- Strong client management and people skills to facilitate negotiations and conflict resolution as required.
- Rarely some travel may be required for customer meetings.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Canadian Project Management Experience.
Working Conditions
