Job description
The ideal candidate will join the Operations Delivery team in the deployment of complex solutions to EBC Group’s portfolio of clients. You will be involved in the pre-sales, scoping, planning & implementation and handover to Customer Support, to ensure a solution is implemented to the highest standard and within agreed timeframes. A wide range of skills will be needed to implement solutions for a EBCs client from their internet connectivity, the core underlying infrastructure, the windows server environment and of course backup and disaster recovery solutions. With client’s adoption of cloud technologies, a strong understanding of migrating and implementing solutions within the Office 365 ecosystem is also required.
The ideal candidate must be able to:-
· Complete site surveys and technical documentation pre deployment and in detail
· Create project plans with detailed timeline of events and delivery milestones and budget.
· Have great organisation skills working in a team and/or with EBC Group clients.
· Be a great communicator to discuss client expectations and complete handovers to the support team.
The ideal candidate must have experience in:-
· Project Management and Delivery to Prince 2 standards
· Understanding of Active Directory design and implementation.
· Be Conversant in Microsoft Windows Server multi role deployments
· Confident in Office 365 product portfolio, migration, deployment and administration.
· Understanding of remote desktop solutions and thin technology.
· Desktop OS & Office Applications
· Firewall, switching and wifi experience
· Security solutions.
· Backup & Disaster Recovery Solutions
· VMware vSphere and Hyper-V experience implementing cluster host and SAN’s
Would be advantageous to have an understanding or experience in :-
· Microsoft Azure Services.
· Understanding of VLAN’s and routing.
· Knowledge of Enterprise Class Wi-Fi Solutions
· Advanced Firewall configurations.
· Knowledge of VOIP and SIP Trunking
· Advanced SAN knowledge.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
