About this opportunity
We are looking for a delivery lead and a programme manager to deliver our ambitious and exciting programme of transition and transformation projects for Cumberland Council.
In this role you will be part of a newly formed Project Management Office which comprises a team of multi-disciplinary project and programme managers that support the delivery of a range of projects and programmes for Cumberland Council.
These particular roles will support the delivery of the Council’s Transition and Transformation Programmes to include a broad portfolio of projects to include delivery of the service disaggregation following local government reorganisation and establishment of new and improved work processes and customer experiences, implementation of Cumberland Council’s operating model and new ways of working, driving efficiencies and commercial opportunities aligned to the Council’s medium term financial plan, and collectively deliver the Council’s strategic priorities.
The roles have arisen as maternity cover and will provide the opportunity for experienced and capable project and programme managers to actively lead the development and delivery of priority projects to set a clear direction for the new Council.
