An exciting opportunity has arisen at for a highly motivated Project Manager to work within the Greenwich Prison Cluster Social Care Team. You will work across all three prison sites including HMP Thameside, Belmarsh and Isis overseeing a team of Health Care Assistants delivering personnel care in a regulated service. In addition, you will also have oversight of the Care and Support Orderly scheme (prisoners supporting other prisoners) with domestic duties. You will lead, supervise and manage members of the team, who will deliver domestic and personal care to those assessed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich as requiring support.

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: £37,790 - £42,129
Responsibilities:
About the role:
- Day to day management of staff rotas, caseload reviews, safeguarding lead responsibilities, joint working with Royal Borough of Greenwich Social Services and prison partners as required. As well as contract management including service development, auditing and quality improvement plans
- Provide line management, supervision and leadership to achieve performance outcomes in line with service level and contractual arrangements
- Ensure that procedures are constantly reviewed to promote best practice and evidenced based practice in accordance with the Care Act 2014
- Organise activities for clients and actively promote their independence
- Ensure the smooth transition of clients Social Care needs into community services/transfer to other establishments
- To maintain excellent communication with local commissioning bodies, Royal Borough of Greenwich and other key stakeholders and contacts
- To oversee the monitoring and evaluation of the service offered to clients and actively engage, involve and consult with them regarding on-going service development
About you:
- Experience of project management with a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services
- Relevant knowledge of working within a social care setting.
- Experience of working within and managing contracts, service agreements and service delivery systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate with a range of people, using a variety of communication methods
- Identifying gaps in service and adopting a problem solving approach
- Ability to lead, inspire and develop teams.
