Canon Europe have an exciting role for a project manager to play a key role in a crucial strategy in to ensure ESG compliance across the Canon EMEA entities. This project includes ensuring systems, processes and controls are in play as of January 2025, as a result of the new EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
This role will allow you to work collaboratively across EMEA to strengthen our governance whilst building upon existing project management skills and developing further in a time critical project that is key to Canon's success and CSR.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract, based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

The CSRD Project Manager will work closely alongside the Senior Project Director within the CSRD PMO, coordinating various workstream leads and reporting to the Executive Steering Committee. The CSRD implementation will require significantcross-business collaboration and a strong team effort to determine the relevant reporting demand, software tools and to collect the data which partially never has been collected before.
Canon has recently announced new global 2030 CO2 reduction targets as part of our journey to achieve net-zero by 2050, and this will be greatly supported by the tracking and reporting of initiatives required by CSRD.
What we ask
This role will expose you to a variety of duties including:
- Preparing the project plan considering all mandatory requirements of CSRD reporting. Partnering with internal and external specialists to develop solutions.
- Continuously managing the project, considering the risks and managing those.
- Finalising reporting processes in preparation of January 2025.
- To support with developing the organisational design to ensure that CRSD reporting is fully compliant in line with requirements.
- Implementing a process of continuous improvement to ensure effective and legally compliant reporting.
You will need
- Strong project planning, management, and delivery skills. As well as knowledge through PRINCE2, for example.
- Experience of regular management reporting. For example, Financial reporting both internal & external.
- The understanding of how large regional organisations operate.
- A strong understanding of how data is managed in a complex company.
- The ability to demonstrate skills in relationship building by influencing and negotiating with stakeholders to bring about change.
Further Information
Salary – £64,000 - £78,000 dependent on experience + up to 10% performance related bonus + extensive flexible core benefits and exceptional pension plan
Location – Canon Europe Campus, The Bower, Stockley Park, UB11 1AF (near Heathrow, West Drayton, Uxbridge) on-site parking and electric charging points
