A fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction project manager to join our rapidly growing outdoor shading team. We are seeking candidates from the construction industry who are not only system and process driven with a methodical approach to their work but also an individual who understands the importance of providing an effective and professional customer service. We would prefer someone with a background and or understanding in steel or outside structures combined with soft skills to professionally work with clients expectations
There are key elements to the post
- Hands on experience with high end design and construction of small structures.
- Abilty to take site measurements to be inserted into technical drawings.
- Collaboration with supply chain for design and costings.
- Post order fulfillment including project management and site surveys.
- Customer facing skills and the abiltlty to explain the technical details.
- Applications without Auto Cad or Sketchup will not be considered.
Clear written and verbal communication and a proactive team approach
Daily liaison with the sales, operations, credit control, project supplier and sub-contractors, management and directors.
Job Description:
Working alongside our technical sales team, we are looking for an office and field-based Project Manager (London and home counties primarily), working on projects ranging from 5k to 500,000 pounds to develop into a expert role.
Daily enquires from ”residential and hospitality sectors to produce bespoke proposals for projects for motorised external shadings including pergola, awnings including steel, wood and aluminum fixed and bioclimatic roof retractable systems
Supply chain includes global shading companies, steel fabricators, international exporters
We are looking for good technical consultation skills together with site survey and project management when required. Understanding and the recent use of AutoCAD and/or Sketchup drawing software highly advantageous.
After a period of product training, responsibilities would also include answering technical queries regarding products or projects .
