Job title: Lead Project Management Professional
Location: Broadoak, Portsmouth or New Malden, Surrey, we also offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements
Salary: Up to £46,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Performing advanced project planning, schedule management and reporting
- Managing information and data consolidation from a diverse group of cross functional stakeholders to provide coherency on project performance
- Able to undertake advanced problem solving typically based on previous experience
- Identifying, assessing and managing risks to the success of the project
- Providing Project Management Support to stakeholders through various processes through the project lifecycle
- Deputising for the Project Manager and for Control Account Managers as appropriate
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Comprehensive PM knowledge and experience demonstrated in a professional capacity including: resource planning and management; cost capture, analysis & forecasting; schedule planning and tracking
- Experience of building effective relationships and managing internal stakeholders to ensure procedures are followed, as well as guiding others in application of Project Management processes
- Competent in gathering, analysing and reporting on complex information / data
Desirable:
- Confident developing solutions and implementing approaches
- Experience of Earned Value Management for project performance reporting

The Joint Support Solution Project Office team:
The Joint Support Solution is an in-service support contract for the Combat Management Systems on Royal Navy Ships which is prides itself on proactive availability management through continuous engineering, spares supply and technical assistance.
At the centre of this team is the Project Office which provides common management across the programme and is the primary interface for internal and external communications. As part of this team the individual in this role will provide common management for key parts of the programme.
